Welboy~Unit 7 No 6(writing about food and drink)












The most important food or drink in Sabah are Bosou, Tuhau, Lombiding, and Tapai. It is the traditional food and drink for the Kadazandusun community in Sabah. Bosou is just like a preserve food. It is made either from fish, prawn or meat. Whereas tuhau is made from some plant called tepu. And for lombiding, it is like vegatable that grow naturally in the jungle. For your information, tapai is the most famous traditional drink in Sabah. It is like a liquor drink. The Kadazandusun made it from rice or tapioca. It is usually being drink when they have party. For example when a wedding day. But sometimes they do drink it for no reason. Apart from that, the Kadazandusun also drink it when celebrating the harvest festival. Last but not least, all of this traditional food and drink already exist since the past. It has become the hereditary food for the Kadazandusun community.
