Ching~~TO MADAME HASLINA AND MY FRIENDS
Time fly very fast. After the semester exam that will fall on next week, then end our semester 3. It’s unbelievable that it could be so fast and end so soon. Before begin this third semester, I heard that it will be very pack in our time table. But I still have to accept it as a fact because my damn poor MUET result. Sigh. But after met my classmates (on the first day and even those who came late because of your personal problems), getting know each other, and become closer within each other, I realize I can able to find happiness in the class with my beloved Madame and all my friends. I am glad that all of us have such opportunity having Madame Haslina as our lecturer. She is the most different among the lecture I have met since I am in UKM. I like her as our lecturer. With her guiding on us, I have some kind of feeling that I was still in Primary school where she likes to hear from others problems, help other as she can like she does in correct my pronunciations, grammar, word usage and even correct us what she found we are wrong in anything and concern of our progress. I like it all. There has been years for me to meet such a lecturer. As I strive to live starting from our third semester begins, I feel that there is someone concern about me. I like it and appreciate it all. Thank you so much Madame. Moreover, within getting closer to each others, we face problem, we help each other as we try our best to fix it all. Along the journey, we gather for three hours from every Monday till Thursday, we learn together, discuss together, smile together and even correct each others, we become closer and closer. And now we only have two days as our lecture hours. It seems too soon for us to separate and continue our journey going to reach another station in our life. Remember to get into our Foundation English Set 5 Blog after finish this semester and post your blog whenever you free as keep in touch with each others as well...

About My Feeling
Ching~~13 JUNE 2008
It is months for me didn’t fall sick and but I get a cold since yesterday. Have a damn bad runny nose in this weekend seems not really suitable for me to go working instead of going practice our class drama. I feel extremely tired with wiping away my nasal mucus running out through my nose. Really feel lazy to go out with such bad condition and take a long rest on my bed but can’t make it at all. There is drama practice which fall on Friday and Saturday since I have to work on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. After calling my supervisor to ask permission for me escape, but she only allow me to do that today. I can only going practice today but absence tomorrow. Dear God, please give unlimited strength for me to complete my tasks, getting well sooner for me to practice on my project presentation, drama practice, prepare open book exam that fall on Monday next week for my Asas Pengurusan Kualiti subject I take other than Foundation English, and even working…

I am student at National University of Malaysia. I doing Malay Literature.
After my classes at faculty I like to study in the library. I usually go there in the afternoon for one or two hours. I also study at hostel, but not often because it is very noisy. I prefer to study alone. Sometimes friends ask me to study with them, but we usually start chatting about other thing. I always make note when I study. It helps me to remember. In a week I think I study about eight hours. Of course, I also have 16 hours of lectures. At the beginning of every week I make a study plan for the whole week. I am always busy!

A satellite is any object which orbits another object. All bodies that are part of the solar system, for example the Earth and Jupiter, are satellites. Most of these bodies orbit the sun, but others orbit planets. For example, the moon orbits the Earth. When we use the term ‘satellite’, we usually mean an artificial satellite. This is a man-made object that orbits the Earth, or another body. However, scientists may also use the term for natural satellites, or moons.

DIGITAL CAMERA
A digital camera is a camera that takes video or still photographs, or both, digitally by recording images on a light-sensitive sensor. Many compact digital still cameras can record sound and moving video as well as still photographs. In the Western market, digital cameras outsell their 35 mm film counterparts. Digital cameras can include features that are not found in film cameras, such as displaying an image on the camera's screen immediately after it is recorded, the capacity to take thousands of images on a single small memory device, the ability to record video with sound, the ability to edit images, and deletion of images allowing re-use of the storage they occupied.Digital cameras are incorporated into many devices ranging from PDAs and mobile phones (called camera phones) to vehicles. The Hubble Space Telescope and other astronomical devices are essentially specialised digital camera.

The mobile phone is a short-range, portable electronic device used for mobile voice or data communication over a network of specialized base stations known as cell sites. They are also called a mobile, wireless, cellular phone, cell phone, or hand phone (hp). The first commercial mobile phone service was launched in Japan by NTT in 1979. By November 2007, the total number of mobile phone subscriptions in the world had reached 3.3 billion, or half of the human population. Some users also have multiple subscriptions, or inactive subscriptions, which also makes the mobile phone the most widely spread technology and the most common gadget in the world. In addition to the standard voice function of a telephone, current mobile phones may support many additional services, and accessories, such as SMS for text messaging, email, packet switching for access to the Internet, gaming, bluetooth, infrared, camera with video recorder and MMS for sending and receiving photos and video.

Ching~~IDEAL AMOUNT OF SLEEP
By LAURA BLUE Tue Jun 10, 4:00 PM ET
Sleep is one of the richest topics in science today: why we need it, why it can be hard to get, and how that affects everything from our athletic performance to our income. Daniel Kripke, co-director of research at the Scripps Clinic Sleep Center in La Jolla, Calif., has looked at the most important question of all. In 2002, he compared death rates among more than 1 million American adults who, as part of a study on cancer prevention, reported their average nightly amount of sleep. To many his results were surprising, but they've since been corroborated by similar studies in Europe and East Asia. Kripke explains.
Q: How much sleep is ideal?
A: Studies show that people who sleep between 6.5 hours and 7.5 hours a night, as they report, live the longest. And people who sleep 8 hours or more, or less than 6.5 hours, they don't live quite as long. There is just as much risk associated with sleeping too long as with sleeping too short. The big surprise is that long sleep seems to start at 8 hours. Sleeping 8.5 hours might really be a little worse than sleeping five.
Morbidity, [or sickness,] is also "U-shaped," in the sense that both very short sleep and very long sleep are associated with many illnesses - with depression, with obesity, and therefore with heart disease and so forth. But the [ideal amount of sleep] for different health measures isn't all in the same place. Most of the "low points" are at seven or eight hours, but there are some at six and some even at nine. I think diabetes is lowest in seven-hour sleepers, [for example]. But these measures aren't as clear as the mortality data.
I think we can speculate [about why people who sleep 6.5 to 7.5 hours live longer], but we have to admit that we don't really understand the reasons. We don't really know yet what is cause and what is effect. So we don't know if a short sleeper can live longer by extending their sleep, and we don't know if a long sleeper can live longer by setting the alarm clock a bit earlier. We're hoping to organize tests of those questions.
One of the reasons I like to publicize these facts is that I think we can prevent a lot of insomnia and distress just by telling people that short sleep is OK. We've all been told you ought to sleep eight hours, but there was never any evidence. A very common problem we see at sleep clinics is people who spend too long in bed. They think they should sleep eight hours or nine hours, so they spend eight or nine hours in bed, with the result that they have trouble falling asleep and they wake up a lot during the night. Oddly enough, a lot of the problem [of insomnia] is lying in bed awake worrying about it. There have been many controlled studies in the United States, Great Britain and other parts of Europe that show that an insomnia treatment that involves getting out of bed when you're not sleepy, and restricting your time in bed, actually helps people to sleep more. They get over their fear of the bed. They get over the worry, and they become confident that when they go to bed they will sleep. So spending less time in bed actually makes sleep better. It is in fact a more powerful and effective long-term treatment for insomnia than sleeping pills. View this article on Time.com

kek pandan... just for information,,,, Abduh Da Great
It is popular in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and China. It is also known as pandan chiffon.
Malay food- rendang - by Abduh Da Great
Rendang is a dish which originated from the Minangkabau ethnic group of Indonesia, and is now commonly served across the country. One of the characteristic foods of Minangkabau culture, it is served at ceremonial occasions and to honour guests. Also popular in Malaysia and Singapore, rendang is traditionally prepared by the Malay community during festive occasions. Though rendang is sometimes described as being like a curry, and the name is sometimes applied to curried meat dishes in Malaysia, authentic rendang is nothing like a curry.
Rendang is made from beef (or occasionally chicken, mutton, water buffalo meat, duck or vegetables like jackfruit or cassava) slowly cooked in coconut milk and spices for several hours until almost all the liquid is gone, leaving the meat coated in the spicy condiments. The cooking process changes from boiling to frying as the liquid evaporates. The slow cooking process allows the meat to absorb all the spices and to become tender. The spices may include ginger, galangal, turmeric leaf, lemon grass and chillies. Chicken or duck rendang also contains tamarind, and is usually not cooked for as long as beef rendang.
There are two kinds of rendang: dried and wet. Dried rendang can be kept for 3–4 months, and it is for ceremonial occasions or to honour guests. Wet rendang, also known as kalio, can be found in Minangkabau restaurants and without refrigeration it should be consumed within a month.
Rendang is often served with rice in Indonesia but in Malaysia it is also served with ketupat (a compressed rice cake) and lemang (glutinous rice barbecued in bamboo tubes).

Ideas for "Sinbad the Sailor" drama script.
Ching~~WHY DO BAD THINGS HAPPEN??
Why, oh, why in the world, do bad things happen to good people? It's a question most of us have asked ourselves at some point in life. Granted, there's no simple answer to this complex question. But, our California Psychics team, who deal with this issue day after day, have some interesting takes on the subject… ideas to think about, ruminate or meditate on, especially when you are the good person having very bad times...
That's life
Life is to learn… accept the good times and the bad. "Sometimes it's just about being in the wrong place at the wrong time," says Ron ext. 9545. It's not karma, or a lesson, it's just what it is." Melinda ext. 9579 adds in agreement, "Everyone gets sick at some time, for instance. It doesn't mean they are being punished for doing something wrong. It's just a part of life."
It is universal. Even the best people in the world suffer. Joelle ext. 9535 suggests, "Think about some of the great leaders you admire. How many of them struggled severely before they hit success. How many times have you heard a story about someone living in their car or immigrating to this country with only the clothes on their back before they acquired huge success."
"In order to ask yourself this question, you would have to harbor some belief that people do get what they deserve," explains Shelby ext. 9040. "While this would be lovely if it were true, we all know that in the real world, life doesn't always fall into place so neatly." .
Blessings in disguise
The bad helps us become stronger, better people. Although some get more difficult lessons than others, life is a cycle of ups and downs, our psychics say.
"All steps in life, no matter how awful and terrible, are part of the spiritual learning process," Lucrecia ext. 9326 explains. "When we believe that we are good and at the same time experience the ultimate worst, it often has to do with a past life or karma. In the face of your worst nightmares, faith in goodness and love is the only possible direction that can bring peace to your world. When you understand your karma, (through readings and astrology) it will help you find a path to happiness."
The universe is not a punishing force, our psychics agree. "The difficulties in life are not about being bad or good," tells Brenna ext. 9592. "Instead, your attitude during these difficult times is key to how quickly and how well you come out the other side. It is perhaps the most difficult times that create opportunities for growth and new possibilities."
Even so, sometimes it just feels like life is raining bad times. Brenna says she had a client whose husband had left her for another woman after 23 years. Her employer had cut back her hours which made it hard for her to make ends meet, plus her mother's health was failing. She couldn't understand why everything bad was happening at once. She truly believed she had been a good wife and hard worker and felt she was being punished for no reason.
"I asked her to understand that the universe is not getting back at her for something she might have done in the past… but to look for opportunities instead." Over time, as Brenna and her client worked together, she explored new job options and came to the understanding that she and her husband were never a great match and she looked forward to meeting new people. "Learning how not to be a victim, helped this caller's life blossom," says Brenna.
Say goodbye to blame
Take a good hard look at who you are blaming for your difficulties. We can be so good to others that we don't see that our own needs are going unmet - and bad things begin to happen. Look at it as a wake up call to look into what's really going on in your life… and find a higher path. Sometimes, says Ron, "We think we are good, but others don't see us that way. We may be living out of guilt or anger, and we really do have lessons to learn."
"I have spoken to many who blame these occurrences on others, or even go so far as to blame God," says Darcy ext. 9488. "But blame, like anger and guilt can all attract the kind of negativity that only leads to more troubles."
It's an attitude thing
Difficult things happen to all people, no one really gets a free pass. But living life fully is about how you deal with difficulties, not the difficulties themselves. There is so much freedom in knowing that our path will not always be smooth. That way our expectations are not attached to smoothness… instead, we can be open to all of the possibilities......
