The Taipei 101 is located in Taipei, Taiwan. The architect was C.Y.Lee. The Taipei 101 was built between 1999 and 2004. It is one of the world’s tallest completed Skyscrapers. It is 509.2 metres high include Antenna or spire and 101storeys above ground and five underground. The style of the building is postmodern combines tradition and modernity in way that make it Asian and international both at once. Its safety features enable it to withstand typhoons and earthquakes. The building is very light inside because it is made of glass and steel. A multi-level shopping mall adjoining the tower houses hundreds of fashionable stores, restaurants and clubs.
