Tokyo City Hall

The Tokyo City Hall is located in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The architect was Kenzo Tange. The Tokyo City Hall is one of the tallest building in Tokyo. It is 243 metres (799 feet ) from 1991 until late 2006, when it surrended its little upon the complection of Midtown Tower. The building consist of a complex of three structures each taking up a city block. It also has three level below ground. The Tokyo City Hall contain my gift shops. They are open till 11 pm on weekdays. The cost to build this Tokyo City Hall is about 157 billion yen
( US $ 1 billion).
