Life Expectancy
The table shows life expectancy in six different region of the world. In Africa, the life expectancy for males was 49 and for females were 51 in 2002. By 2025, this figure will increase to 53 for males and 57 for females. The life expectancy in Near East was 67 for males and 71 for females in 2002. Meanwhile in 2025, the statistic will rise to 72 for males and 77 for females. The biggest continent, Asia depicts that males life expectancy was 65 and females was 68 in 2002 while for years 2025, the value will increase to 71 for males and 75 for females. In the years of 2002, Latin America and the Caribbean record for the life expectancy were 68 and 74 for males and females but by 2025 the expectancy was 68 and 74 for males and females. European’s life expectancy was lower than North American’s in 2002. The figures in Europe were 68 and 74 for males and females while in North America, 74 for males and 78 for females. There will be increase expected for both regions in 2025, 73 for males and 81 for females in Europe and for North America, the life expectancy will be 78 for males and 84 for females.
